My Question or Issue
The stream counts in my sound capsule is not showing on my phone, while I can still see it in on my iPad.
PS: I was uploading the screenshots but they were taking far too long to upload (98 and 238 kB jpg files), so I didn't.
Spotify removed the number of streams that you had on a song in the time machine.
Now it’s boring! I would like to know how many times I heard a song in a month, not ONLY know my top 5 songs most played, or my top 5 artists. I want to know the numbers, I want to know how many streams I had for my top 5 songs, I want to know how many time I spent listening my top 5 artists.
I don't want to know only who are my top 5, I want to know the reason, I want to know the quantity, I want to know the numbers, the time spent.
I pay Spotify Premium, I deserve having the numbers for my top 5 songs and artists. I don't pay the premium for seeing spotify removing something cool, something that I pay spotify just to see it. The numbers are the differencial for Spotify, not only at the end of the year, but also at the end of the month in the time machine.
We need it back!
Hey there @Priyam212,
Thanks for reaching out.
We'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app on your phone to make sure you're running the latest app version available for the device.
If that doesn't do the trick, could you send over the screenshots you mentioned? It'd be helpful so that we know exactly what's going on.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
Hey Novy,
I'm facing the exact same issue (even after the recommended clean reinstall) so I'm attaching the screenshots below.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Hey there, just like Vardhan, I also conducted the clean reinstall, but the issue persists. One mistake in the post is that I actually have Android 15, not 16. The phone software is up-to date. Here are the screenshots:iPad Pro 2020 (OS 26)
Samsung Galaxy S23 (OS 15)
Hey @Priyam212 & @Vardhan_Muttangi,
Many thanks for the additional info and for the screenshots 🙂
So that we can take this backstage and see what's going on, could you also let us know what your Spotify app versions are?
It would also be of help if you can remember the rough point in time when the streams have disappeared for you and if this has happened after a specific event like e.g. an OS or app update.
Many thanks in advance. We'll be on the lookout for your replies 🙌🏼
Hello there.
I believe the disappearance of the streams was a very recent event, probably after 29th September. Since then, I have only updated the OS on my iPad, while the OS on my phone is up-to date.
Hey @Vasil,
I'm running the version 9.0.82.1032 on my phone. I did the clean reinstall yesterday and there's been no update since. I can't check when the last update was, but I doubt it matters much anyway.
I don't remember when exactly the streams disappeared, but I think it's been around a week now.
Thanks a lot.
Hey folks! @Vardhan_Muttangi @Priyam212
Thank you for the additional details and for the prompt response 🙂
We've forwarded this backstage to get looked into and we'll let you know as soon as there's anything new on our end.
Keep your apps updated in the meantime. We'll be here for you in case there's anything else.
Hey, any update so far?
nope. i really hope they didn't actually close the idea/post as AlejaR has written.
Hello there! A small, rather wanted, update.
Now, I can't see the stream count on my iPad either.
In sound capsule top songs list doesn't show how many times plays each song. It was in previous versions but in latest update it didn't show up.
I feel like the mods would've known/mentioned if that was the case when we brought up the issue? Not sure though because last I checked my friends could still see their streams.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game and get…
