MOTO G THIRD-GENERATION

I am considering upgrading to Spotify Premium, but I do not think it is feasible due to memory constraints on my Motorola Moto G (Third Generation). It has 8 GB of internal memory and 32 GB of SD memory. I am aware that in order to use Spotify in 'offline mode', the playlists are first downloaded to cache, which would only be the phone's internal memory. 8 GB is not even close to enough to hold the downloads. If there was a way to get the music to download to SD, then I would be able to upgrade to Spotify Premium. I suppose no one knows of a way to get Spotify to use the Moto G's SD card as an download cache location for offline mode?
