Major Advertisement Bug

Ever since I started using the free version of the Spotify App on my Kindle Fire HDX (3rd Generation) several months ago the advertisements that play would randomly freeze and wouldn't continue on to the next 30 minutes of music. I get the initial "Thank You for watching, now watch this ad to get 30 minutes of music" but as soon as the ad starts to play the audio and video stops and won't play the ad. I used to be able to pause and then unpause the video or in some cases restart my device entirely and it would continue without playing the ad but now it won't work even after restarting.
