Most songs disappearing randomly out of my playlists

So, today I updated the app after not using it for less than a week and once I opened it, my entire playlist of one specific artist, was gone. Empty. Besides one singular song. I was gonna just play the other, mixed with other artists one, but that one only had about 1/4 of the songs in it. Restarting the app does not work and so does clearing the cache. On my laptop, the songs still show and can be played normally.

Since the songs are visible and playable on other apps and clearing the cache also did not help, I'd recommend a clean-install of the Spotify app.

This tends to fix most such issues easily. You can find all the steps and guide for the same in this article.
