New Spotify UI - make it optional

Since this week I have this ugly new Spotify Design in the app, but only, if I'm playing Podcasts. 

So, apart from the fact that a square cover does not fit into a rectangular design, and all the Titles are now ugly cropped, also the function to switch quickly to the queue is now difficult to reach, only via the menu. wth? Why? As a designer, my eyes are hurting, just by watching this cropped cover, but also the work around for a perfect feature kills it, really. 

I googled, and it seems that the only way to get rid of these "features" is to create a new account and hope, that it is not affected with this design. Really? For what I'm paying my spotify Premium Abo? Makes no sense to me. 

So - you should make the design optional. Only thing, that could work for me. ASAP. It's not the first design change that is somehow unpopular, is it? Sooner or later the alternatives for Spotify will be big enough to think about a change. I hope not, but I don't will pay for a ugly and complete unfunctional system in the future.
