My HiFi Receiver Yamaha RX-V683 is connected to my WiFi network and can be accessed with the Controller App, Yamaha MusicCast and Webinterface from my phone. However, Spotify doesn't connect from phone anymore.
It once worked, but stopped doing so a few month ago. Spotify still streams from my wife's iPhone (!?!!!), which is why I assume it's either my phone (Android Pixel 6a, Android 14) or the Spotify App.
I had Spotify check for devices for 30min, nothing. Bluetooth streaming works fine with MusicCast. All Apps and Device are up to date. Settings seem to be in order (all permissions given etc.).
I'm out of ideas. Can anyone help out, where or what to check?
I've installed MusicCast and Spotify on another Android (Samsung A52, fully updated), connected to my Spotify (Premium) Account. Won't connect to the receiver, but weirdly to each other. The android phones even "see" each other if one phone is connected to the Guest WiFi.
Guest WiFi and Main WiFi can each see all connected devices, but obviously not devices connected to the other WiFi.
Device: RX-V683, System Version 2.87 (1923), API Version 2.08, connected to WiFi and fully accessable through Webinterface, AV Controller and MusicCast App.
Apps: Spotify Premium Version 8.9.40.509 com.spotify.music MusicCast Version 5.70 com.yamaha.av.musiccastcontroller Yamaha AV Controller Version 5.60 com.yamaha.av.avcontroller
