Not able to open spotify

Not able to open spotify

Ive been having this problem for a few days where spotify refuses to open after its crashed before, I had uninstalled and installed the app several times, able to listen to music, then at some point it would crash, every time I attempt to open the app after the first initial crash, it sits at a black page with a grey bar on top (similar to where it would show the search bar, or what page you are on) then from there will exit, ask to restart spotify, hitting that does the same thing again, then crashes and asks to close the app, does anyone know what would be causing this?

I am having the same issue. When I tap on Spotify it is black. It only happens after I purchase premium. I'v never experienced Spotify crashing as a free app. It is extremely frustrating. 😣😔

I'm having the same problem - and before it crashed I wasn't able to skip through local files without the app crashing.

This is after updates that;

Disabled shuffle/repeat any time you chose a song

Stopped you from skipping through parts of local files

And made syncing local files a total headache.

What is with this app breaking something every time its been updated? Do the programmers not test this stuff?

Same issue. I hope they fix it immidiately because like we pay for a service we can only partly access.

I am having the same issue.  Do you have android phones and it is anything to do with this?  I think my phone recently did a download and now all of a sudden the exact same thing is happening.  Thoughts??

Add me to the list. Exact same problem to the letter.

Same problem here, only started today. I would really rather not have to redownload the same 500+ song offline playlists every day.
