Note 5 - Available offline sync kills WiFi connection

So I just got a Galaxy Note 5. I've noticed that if I'm on wifi and I try to sync any of my playlists to be available offline, it kills the wifi connection for the entire phone until I toggle wifi off and on. I can sync over mobile data, but that takes forever, and won't allow me to sync my local files on my PC that aren't on Spotify. Anyone have a fix for this?

Edit: I've narrowed it down to occur only when trying to sync local files. If it's just trying to sync Spotify files, it does fine. Only breaks wifi when it's pulling songs off my PC. I'm confused. This worked flawlessly on my old S4.
