Notification hard to read on dark theme

Spotify's text is almost unreadable on the android notification bar when I have a dark theme on, as it is dark letters on dark background. Other apps (such as phonograph for example) show just fine and adjust themselves to the theme being dark or light, therefore it seems to be a spotify material design issue.I am on xiaomi redmi note 3 special edition.
