For the last few days I have not been able to download and play local files on my phone.
I have local files on my pc which I have placed in my playlists which I have downloaded on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S7) and it have been working until a few days ago. The local file songs downloaded cannot be played on my phone but all other "normal" songs can be played both on pc and on my phone.
I have read other threads and followed instructions without luck.
I have: Re-downloaded ALL my playlists in different qualites normal, high and extreme quality
I have re installed the app multiple times
I have removed all offline devices and added it back
I dont know how to fix this or what to do next 😞
Can the local files be played on your computer? I also have a phone and have downloaded music and it works fine, however the only way it got on my Spotify locally is I had to open Googe Play Music so it would transfer over to Spotify
Hope This Helps
Have a Great Day
Kudos are appreciated
The music plays on my computer, not on my phone, I too had to export all my songs to google play music to listen to it. But I cant use the offline songs on my phone still.
I had this same problem, but my solution was kinda of dumb. I opened the local files through google play music on my phone. Then after I did this is was able to play on my phone.
Yeah I can play music through google play music too its just, having to switch apps to play music is dumb, especially when with premuim subscription I am supposed to be able to play music downloaded ON spotify and not some other app.
It did not help but thanks anyway!
Well what I was saying was my songs transfered and were able to be played on Spotify afterwards.
Did it work? If so please mark it as a solution
