Open spotify twice

I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 edge and every time I open spotify the first time I can't see the songs and playlists, so I have to go back to the home screen and start open the spotify app with it running in the background and it works! It's a really annoying problem can someone help please!

Lately, it's been slow to open on my S7 Edge but at least I get to watch the loading circle rather than just a blank screen. As much as I hate suggesting a reinstall, give it a try, following the steps here and let me know if it makes any difference.
