Play and pause button completely white

My Question or Issue

As the title says, the play and pause button appears completely white and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried a clean Spotify install but it didn't fix my issue.

I'm using dark theme on my phone.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

This seems to be caused by Xiaomi's Dark Mode. A workaround is to prevent Spotify from running in Dark Mode by following these steps:

1. Go to your phone's Settings > Display > Dark Mode.
2. Scroll down and tap on Individual apps. then uncheck Spotify. That way the Spotify app will run in Light Mode instead and the Play and Pause buttons should appear correctly.
