Playback isn't paused when answering calls [Android]

Hi,
from a couple of days spotify won't stop playing music when an incoming call arrives.
So I hear both call and music that is very annoying
I have to close the application manually.
Anyone have the same problem and have an idea how to fix it ?

Version 3.3.0.998 no maybe you're using 3.3.0.988 of July? If the solution is to use a version of six months ago ......... we're good

I got version 4.4.0.1008 from the Play Store this morning. Lets see how it holds up.

Tried it today on version 4.4.0.1008 and at least on the first call, no issue! I do hope it's fully fixed now, cautiously optimistic... Assuming it is, thank you spotify support 🙂

UPDATE HAS NOT FIXED ISSUE ON MY SAMSUNG GALAXY S5. JUST TESTED OPENING BEYONDPOD APP AND RECEIVING PHONE CALL WHILE SPOTIFY WAS FIRST RUNNING. SPOTIFY CONTINUES TO PLAY OVER ALL OTHER AUDIO APPS AND PHONE CALLSī.

NEED TO CARVE OUT AN HOUR OR TWO TO TRANSFER PLAYLISTS TO GOOGLE MUSIC...

Still not fixed after update. Received call while listen to spotify over bluetooth on my car, music continues to play.

Without any reply from Spotify and the problem still unresolved I've cancelled my subscription and and subscribed to Google Play

I have the latest version on an Honor 7 and have this issue, it's driving me insane. I have DM'd SpotifyCares on Twitter but won't hold my breath for a reply

On top of doing the same as you guys (music keeps playing when I'm plugged in in my car) on my old dinosaur:

Samsung 2

Android 4.1.2

With Spotify:

4.4.0.1008

It also keeps playing when I am making a call if I don't stop it myself before.

I know it might sound pretty obvious, but I don't recall anyone from this post ever mentioning it.

Honor 6 with Android 5.1.1

Spotify: 4.4.01008

While listening to Spotify:

• Issuing a call (both on phone with headphone and using bluetooth car)
• Spotify pauses as I press the call button - no music during call
• Upon hanging up, music resumes

• Receiving a call (verified on phone, but not car/bluetooth, yet)
• Spotify pauses as ringtone starts - no music during call
• Upon hanging up, music resumes

So for me, the problem is gone.

Directly on the phone.

Issuing a call works from car & bluetooth. I hope I get a call in the car soon (but I strongly assume, that will work, too).
