Playlist with local files not working

I have a Google Pixel phone. I made a playlist on my computer for a podcast using the local files it works fine on my PC. But when I try to access the playlist on my phone it tells me to look for music to add to the playlist, acting like it's empty. I've tried everything, help is appreciated!

Local files need to be downloaded to your mobile as described here. Turn on the option in spotify settings to show unplayable files as this will help troubleshoot.

I followed all of the instructions but the playlist still shows up as empty on my phone's Spotify.
