My Question or Issue

Whenever I click "Download" on a track, album, playlist or podcast episode, I see the grey downward-pointing arrow, as if the download is pending - but nothing happens. Ocassionally (frustratingly) the download starts immediately, but more often than not the track(s) which I have selected remain offline.

As a result of reading through these forums, I have (in addition to repeatedly rebooting the phone):

(a) cleared the app cache;
(b) ensured that I have sufficient storage space;
(c) ensured that wifi is on and is working on my phone; and finally
(d) uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify.

The problem persists. Please advise.
