Premium stopped recognising marantz

Premium stopped recognising marantz

Hi

Spotify appears to have stopped recognising marantz c611 hif i streamer, unit will still play internet radio though so is on Wi-Fi network. Spotify still appears on Yamaha hifi.

This also is the case for me on my Denon reciever. Old phone without Spotify update works fine, all phones with updated Spotify can't connect.

I have now tried some solutions: opening port 4070 on the router solved my problem.

 

Simillar problem with my setup.

 

PC: Windows 10 and spotify (both updated)

Receiver: Denon X1100W (updated, firmware version: 1600-1581-4085)

Network: same private network, PC connected via WiFi, Denon cable LAN

 

Denon spotify works fine with iPhone app.

 

PC spotifie recognizes Denon Spotify Connect  feature, but fails to connect (see attached screenshots)

Thanks for that.....finally got a connection after several resets.

Same problem here, Marantz NR1506. It is listed in the Spotify App, but I can't connect. Airplay works without problems (of course). Please Spotify, fix this.

I think I've finally re-connected...but it took several attempts. The
Marantz website was helpful, as was their support line.

Hi, so could you post detailed instructions what did you did? Or what did Marantz support line suggested to do?

Hi, again,
I was advised by Marantz to re-set the system according to their
instructions. However, this didn't appear to be a permanent solution; at
least, not for my cr611.

I finally just unplugged the cable from the wall, plugged it back in and
used the remote to go into settings to set up the wi fi again & re-entered
my password [it wipes all tuner presets etc] - it's under 'network' I
think. After that Spotify recognised my unit.

I should say this was for a c6ll, so it might not be the answer for other
units - but might be worth a try? Apologies if you've already tried this.
In that case I've found Marantz to be very helpful. There are some
instructions on their website [under 'support'] for specific Spotify
problems.
