Problem searching music even with wifi connected. I have a Galaxy S8.

My Question or Issue

 Even with wifi connected i can't search music. Message appear is: your aren't connected to internet. I tried erasing cache memory from spotify and the cellphone, reinstalling spotify, forcing dettention, unloggin' and loggin' again, the offline mode is dessactivated,etc. There is no way I can search music or exploring playlists. Anyone could help me. Pleaseeeee

Hello @Epilort,

 

That's an odd issue. Can you let me know:

 

- Does the same thing happen on the web player, or a different device?

 

- Do your account's country settings match your current location? It's worth checking this out, just in case.

 

- Also, are you using a VPN? If so it's possible this could be interfering with things.

- It just happens in my cellphone,not in other devices.

- My account was created in Spain and I'm here right now. But I was in other country 3 weeks ago using my device as other times and these never happen. 

- I don't use VPN

Are you joking? There are TONS of threads in this forum about this exact problem. Why do you all keep pretending like this is a random and unexpected thing when there are so many reports about it? Clearing cache and reinstalling? It DOESN'T FIX THE PROBLEM!

What we need is a REAL bug fix from Spotify, not a generic "maybe you should try restarting your phone" blurb.

Why don't you try using other internet connections?

 

Also, does it happen on a different account in your same device?
