Problem with Spotify android app and chromecast

Can Spotify fix its app for an android device to use chromecast audio. This problem has been reported in forums. When you press play it flicks back to stop. The Pandora app works perfectly with chromecast audio. If Spotify can't fix its android app so it works with chromecast audio, I regretfully won't extend my trial premium period.
