Recommended Songs Issue

When using Spotify with Android Auto it automatically plays recommended Songs instead of going to the next song in my created playlists. I have already turned off all auto play features that I can find. It plays my liked songs playlist in the correct order if I hit next though.

Thanks for reaching out & sorry to see you've been having issues with your playback!

As a starting troubleshooting step, let's try removing your mobile app's cached data as shown here. In case this doesn't make a difference, you can try going for a complete clean reinstall of the app. Note that this will remove the content you've saved for offline listening and you will have to download it again at your convenience 🙂

In case the issue remains, we'd like to ask you a few questions:

• Does the described behaviour occur only when connected to Android Auto?
• Do you use a USB cable or a Bluetooth connection when in the car?
• When did you first notice this issue and have you noticed if it's occurred after a specific event like an app/ OS update?
