Release Notes - Spotify for Android (1.0.0.70) Sony Experia / Android 4.4.4

I've just downloaded Spotify on my new phone Sony Experia / Android 4.4.4.  But it won't start. I get the message ~"Spotify is unfortunately stopped" with an option to send an error report, which I have done. I'm signed up for Premium.

Any clues?
