Samsung Infuse: Spotify always offline

Samsung Infuse: Spotify always offline

I am a Plus subscriber, and I cannot listen to the radio on my phone.  WiFi and 4G are working fine, but Spotify decided one day to go offline and stay offline forever.  Clearing cache, install and uninstall, changing password, and all settings didn't help.  Does anyone else have any solution?

Have you tried setting it to offline mode and then remove it from the offline mode.

You betcha!

You have a premium subscription
You have tried syncing playlists offline (download)

When you tried uninstalling and reinstalling, did you check your sd card and other locations signs of spotify via file browser and deleting them if seen.

You could try installing an older version of the app and see if it works.

Thanks for the advice!  I tried all of those things as well, and still no luck.  I suppose I'll just patiently wait for the next update!

Did you try a clean install as in factory reset the device / format usb storage / remove sd card and then install spotify as the first app to install.

This does sound odd as a problem.

I have the EXACT same issue with my Samsung Nexus.  Everything Devinomatic said is happening to me.  What's up, Spotify?!

Hi,

Please factory reset the device. If you have a recovery, backup (in case it doesn't help, so you can get your data back).

If that doesn't work, then make sure background data is enabled, and not restricted.

You should't have to factory reset a device to get an app to work. That just rediculous.

I agree with wolfmanbass.  I shouldn't have to reset my phone for a music app.  I would rather cancel and find another service.  I hope you guys figure this out soon and send an update if that's what it needs.

Spotify charges more a month than Netflix...and they stream movies and TV shows to my phone.  *sigh*

Hello folks, welcome to the Community!

@Devinomatic: I just checked your account and you have the Unlimited version of Spotify. If you want to listen to music on your phone you need to upgrade to Premium, check our differents products here, thanks! 😉

@DJRuffRyd: you are already a Premium user, have you tried with another network? give it a go and come back to us if you can´t enjoy the full mobile experience.

Thank you all for being there 🙂
