Samsung S8 Streaming Issues

Solved!

Samsung S8 Streaming Issues

Hi All,
I received my Samsung Galaxy S8 on Friday, beaut! Unfortunately when I paired it too my car I am having difficulty streaming music over Bluetooth audio. It works but stops and starts frequently, thinking was my car I tried it on my wife's BMW and unfortunately the same issue. The Spotify app was working perfectly on both vehicles with my S7 Edge.

Anyone else having the same problem ?

Best wishes

Hi,

I seem to have resolved this by disconnecting and reconnecting a couple of times.

Hop this works for you too.

Best wishes

Do you have a fitbit or some other bluetooth device that sync's a lot?

I found fitbit is taking all of the bluetooth bandwidth when it syncs and leaves nothing for spotify. Only way I could fix it was to turn off all auto syncing on the fitbit or uninstall fitbit all together.

Hi,

I have found if you turn your Fitbit off completely then the problem goes away. You might like to try this... And then, unlike me, don't forget to turn it back on at the end of your journey.

Hi Rob787,

Great Point, I have both a Fitbit Blaze and a Gear S3. Either and/or both could be causing the problem. I have fond though sometimes it works fine and otehr times I get the stuttering. If I disconnect and reconnect I eventually get it to work fine.

Looking forward to the next S8 Sofware update :-).

I'm having the same problem. Turned off all day sync from Fitbit and that didn't resolve the problem. So, I decided to turn the "dual audio" feature on while listening to Spotify via my car and headphones...stuttering/skipping gone. Not sure why but that's the only fix I've found.

By the way, I'm not familiar with the "Duel Audio" feature, is this on Spotify or a feature of your car, it's it's a Spotify feature where do I find it please.

Thanks

Phill

I will try that. Thank you so much.

Dual Audio is a feature of the Samsung S8.
