Search music problems

My Question or Issue

 When I go to search for a song and play it from the search area it doesn't play that song, it plays something completely random...anyone know why or how to fix it? The picture shows when I went to play tech n9ne something else played.

Just to confirm, what Spotify version are you using? Let's make sure there aren't any pending updates for the app.

If you're not sure there's a pending update, try reinstalling the app to see if it helps.
