Selecting songs in Discover playlist selects the wrong song

My Question or Issue

Lately for the past month or two, the Discover Weekly playlist has been completely bugged for me. If I select a song from the list, it selects a completely different song from the list. Then if I select that song, it plays a third song. I can keep repeating this and play a subset of the songs, but not all of them, this way.

I thought there is some sort of indexing issue, but there doesn't seem to be any discernible pattern from what I can tell. Skipping to the next song or going back works just fine though, so I can move along the songs in an alphabetical order.

I haven't noticed this issue in any other playlist I have, or the other recommended lists, like Daily Mixes.

My spotify is on 8.5.7.999
