Shuffle Play Deactivates After Selecting A Song

I never had this problem before. I would have my shuffle and the repeat playlist on all the time and I never had it shut off unless I restart my phone or restart Spotify. I just updated the app on my android phone and now anytime I select a song it will deactivate.

I don't know if this was with the update but why change it if it was an update? It just makes it more difficult to keep the settings I want. I select songs a lot but I do like having my songs on shuffle a lot too.

I tried selecting shuffle play first then selecting a song and that didn't work. I logged off and back on, restarted my phone and reinstalled it and nothing worked.
