Shuffle + Repeat settings keep getting reset everytime I choose a song to listen

I currently have a LG G6 and the 8.4.53.703 arm V7 version of Spotify. Ever since I updated the OS for my G6, everytime I switch playlists, or switch songs, the 'repeat' and 'shuffle' setting gets disabled.

So if I was listening with shuffle on and repeating everything on, when I click a different song in the same playlist, the settings would be disabled.

Also when I search up a song within a playlist with the filter feature and I click the song that was searched up, the song I chose wouldn't play but instead, the first song in that playlist would play.

Would there be a solution?

Had this for a few days now, getting annoying. I hope they fix the bug soon.

Ping. Shuffle (and I assume repeat too) is disabled anytime I select a new song.
