My Question or Issue
I have 950 saved songs, which is about 55 hours. I start them on my phone in the app, turn on shuffle, and after 2 hours, the same song comes on that I started playing first, then all the previously played tracks are played again. These are my latest tracks, so the random is not really random, it just randomizes the last 200 tracks on my list, and once it's over, it will start the same queue again.
Hence:
THERE IS NO WAY TO PLAY ALL MY TRACKS IN RANDOM ORDER
Please spare me the restart your device, clear your cache, restart the app, log in/out.
Please give me a real solution, because it is clearly visible, that Spotify can't shuffle all my 950 tracks at once. This happens in the Linux app, Android app, Web player.
Hey there @mrbaloghakos,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
We appreciate your feedback on the matter. And yes, Shuffle, will prioritize songs that you tend to listen to more than others when shuffling a big playlist with hundreds or thousands of songs.
You can read more about this and add your +Vote to this Idea.
The best thing to do is to add/ remove a few tracks from the playlist which should refresh the shuffle algorithm to some extent.
Hope you find this info helpful. Cheers.
