So I just purchased a new Google Pixel 6 Pro and I thought the connectivity issue between the default alarm clock and Spotify should have been fixed by now but it's still there. Mind you that this is a clean install on a new phone. I had this issue on my previous Pixel 4a before this. When I go in the alarm and try to select a music through spotify, it either doesn't show me any result or if it shows then the cover art is missing and when I select the song, there is no music. Just to give you an idea, I am attaching a screenshot. Also after this error in the clock, the Spotify app also hangs for a number of times. This happens randomly, sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.
