Since lollipop no multitasking / running in background possible anymore

Yeah, title says all. When I minimize Spotify or switch to any other app the playback stops. Funny fact :it doesn't stop immediately but usually after 1-10 seconds. When switching back to Spotify the song has to be started all over again.

Have you tried doing a full reinstallation of the app, including removing your local files?

Err, I'd love to avoid that as I don't want to download everything again, but okay I'll give it a try.

Ha no reinstall for me. The latest hotfix for lollipop solved that for me. Thanks

I've been having this issue as well and I tried the reinstallation of the app itself including the deletion of the local files, I don't know what else could I Try
