Song Skipping Bug???

I have been dealing with an issue where my spotify has been randomly skipping songs and pausing. It has been causing a great deal of frustration.

I've experienced this before too. It seemed like it was only happening when I had the app open on multiple devices. Have you tried updating your android app? It seems like it must have been fixed in a somewhat recent update, because it hasn't happened in several days.
