Song changing when I press the power button on my phone

Okay so I noticed that when I'm listening to music and I'm on the screen with my playlist and then press the power button to turn off the screen, the song will change. And this doesn't happen every single time, it's random. It also happens sometimes when I use the volume rockers on the side. It's the weirdest thing, anyone have any insight?

That's odd. Just checked and not happening on mine, do you have any apps that may be mapping the keys differently? Are you rooted at all?

Can you try a clean install?

No, I'm not rooted and no apps that would change the function of the keys. Like I said, it's only sometimes. If I try to show someone, it won't happen of course, lol it just does it super randomly. Yes I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it has updated several times since. Still happens.

Sounds like a hardware or OS fault to me. Maybe contact your device manufacturer
