Song preview function not working on andriod

I have a Samsung S7 with Android 8.0 and recently, the preview song function in spotify has disappeared for me. Except for playlists (both made my spotify and users), albums and singles that I've saved dont have this function. Which is strange because in the 2 years I've used this app this function was always there. I'm not sure if there was an update I've heard no news of this. I'm not sure what's going on.
