Songs disappearing?!

I downloaded the new update last night, everything was fine, but when i woke up this morning I'm missing about half of the songs from EACH artist i have. I've looked back to all of my favourite songs and it's those that are primarily missing. I've tried re-downloading the songs and it won't even give me the option to save them to my phone, as if it's already saved. But when i go to look for it, it's literally no where to be found. PLEASE HELP

Just to check, can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event? Also, are the songs missing across all your devices?
