Songs not available offline

On the new app for android they seem to have got rid of the star system but now you save the songs. But this means it doesnt add it into a playlist so i cannot download them to be available offline.

Is there a way? I dont want to add them all into a playlist and then keep adding songs to download them, massive annoyance.

You can download artists and albums in Your Music on android. Just go to the relevant screen and hit the "available offline" switch at the top. This doesn't work for the Songs section yet so, if you want to listen to a mix, playlists still have their place.
