My Question or Issue
I'm pretty good at discerning differences in bit rates. The sound quality does not change when attempting to toggle the setting in streaming, downloads, or data. I made sure data saver was off, normalize volume is off, auto adjust quality was off, tried clearing data, cache, uninstall and re-install app. Tried changing quality on PC as well, and it didn't make a difference. I haven't see any other reports on it, so I wonder if it's an issue with my account on the back-end.
