Hi guys,
I've had this issue for a month or so and have just completely formatted and started from scratch with my phone.
Every time i launch spotify it opens, logs in, displays the main outline of the app (list icon top left and black background) then instantly closes itself. Every time without fail, i cannot use the app whatsoever.
I followed the steps on the post "[COMPLETE GUIDE] How to fix most Android issues" but no use. I have uninstalled the app, formatted the phone, tried logging in with different accounts other than my premium one.. but nothing has helped.
Running samsung s5 european model, android v5.0, premium acc, latest version of spotify on the store.
Understandably this is defeating the main reason i pay for premium, so I would greatly appreciate someone helping me with this issue.
Thanks!

Firstly, another person had a similar issue and found that reverting to Spotify version 2.9 is a workaround.
Spotify only allows you to download the latest version so if you can not find the version download via google just reply to this post.
Also, if you wish to be contacted directly by spotify, you can do so here https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/
If you receive an automated message just reply to it because the email is monitored.
Bump. Not renewing subscription after years of subscribing at this rate...
