Spotify Connect Freezes

If I use the Spotify app on my Samsung Galaxy S5 to control music on another device via Connect (usually PS3 recently but I have the same problem with other devices), within a few songs the app freezes on one song and I can no longer see what's playing on the controlled device or control the music playing on the controlled device. The music will keep playing without a problem on the controlled device, but I've lost the ability to "connect" and control it from my phone. It's very aggravating. I've had this problem for a while and it persists through restarts, uninstalls, etc.

Any thoughts?

That's Android closing the process I'm afarid. I get it also. Unfortunately you just have to restart the app and connect back to the device playing the music.

As mentioned, this is Android and there's nothing the Spotify app can do I'm afraid.
