Spotify Connect Problem - Wrong track shown on Smartphone

Hello,

 

im expieriencing the following problem:

 

The Spotify Application plays music on my PC.

I'm using the Spotify App on my Android Smartphone (Galaxy S4) to control which tracks are played on my PC.

 

It happens almost all times, that my Smartphone shows different track names than the track being played on my PC.

 

Both the Desktop App and Smartphone App are up to the lastest version.

 

What can cause this problem??

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

 

My first guess is that it might be your network speed which might cause the delay between the two devices.

Could you please go to a website like speedtest.net to test your network speed? I'd like you to share your network upload/download speed.
