Spotify Doesn't Download Songs on Samsung Watch 4

My Question or Issue

Every time I press the "download to watch" button in any Spotify playlist, it loads for a second and then stops loading and returns to "download to watch" again.

 

I uninstalled the app, installed it again, restarted the watch, enabled storage permissions in the watch's settings, made sure the watch is connected to WiFi, made sure it's connected to my Samsung phone.

 

My watch is running the latest software update and has the most up-to-date Spotify (8.7.48.1062).

 

Any ideas how may I fix this?

Would you mind checking if there is an app update available and if the issue persists once you have the latest version installed?
We'd also recommend testing this with a different network to see if that makes a difference.

Hey @yahiabarakah,

Would you mind letting us know what your mobile device OS version is?
We'd also like to know the exact version of your watch OS.

Aside from that, I'd advise checking this thread as well. 
If nothing solves the issue, let us know which troubleshooting steps you've tested out and we'll take it from there.

@vasil My watch is running OS version R880XXU1FVD4 / R880OXM1FVD4

My Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is running OS version S908U1UEU2AVF7 / S908U1OYM2AVF7 / S908U1UEU2AVF7

 

I checked the thread and tried the steps there (removing the app, reinstalling it, etc) but it's still not downloading music to my watch.

 

Please let me know what else I can try or what other information you need. Thank you for your help!
