Spotify Extreme, not so extreme

I can't say I'm closely following. So, did Spotify update the storage method?

My downloaded 1200~ songs take only about 11gb on extreme quality. Either my phone refuses to download at that quality or they did something with the file sizes.

Nothing's changed as far as I know. How much space should they take up according to your calculations, bearing in mind that high quality is 320kbps?

Half of it used to take 12gb on extreme. So around 25gb is what it would take
