Spotify Gear S3 Remote Control

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to control my phone on gear s3 in remote mode as I can do all the things in "wi-fi mode" on my watch. See the problem is that in remote mode I can not simple search any song I want to play on my phone or just to play any song from my playlist/artist/album and I do not mean skipping it. To select last song on 100 songs playlist is very inconvenient in that way. Is it me or just it is not available in remote mode? I just do not want to waste my gear´s battery thus I solely want to use my phone. 

If it helps I have Galaxy s8 and premium account on spotify.
