Spotify Wont Stop playing even when off

Hi

I am on premium accounts and in the UK using an Android Phone.  When I bluetooth my Galaxy S8 to the radio, I play my music no problem,  when I close down the app, for some reason it just rnadomly starts.  I have switched it off and back on, checked settings to make sure autoplay is off which it is.  I have pressed pause and then it starts again.  I am at a loss as to how to stop this from playing.I am on Android Version 9.

It is so annoying to the point I have stoppped playing my musi in the car!
