Spotify android crashes shortly after startup

Hi,
Ever since i reorganized my playlists on the windows 7 desktop app by creating new folders and moving playlists around, spotify keeps crashing on my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Android 6.0.1 - Spotify version 8.4.11.1283). Moments after I start spotify on my phone the app just closes when it tries to access my playlists.

I believe this is a sync issue with my Premium account because I've tried to log in on another android phone and it has the same issue while if i login with the free version everything works ok. Spotify also works just fine on my Ipad and on my computer.

I tried reinstalling several times (clean install) and removing my sd card but nothing works.
Thanks for any tips on how to solve this.
