The Samsung Gear Fit 2 was released 2 weeks ago. All reviews said/showed that it would contain a native spotify app. I´m trying to find that app - but no luck!
Can it be that Spotify only releases it into the US samsung Galaxy apps store? I live in Europe and that might explain it. I wodner if anyone can confirm that this is the case!?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Finally! All though suffering from stutters/pauses myself, both offline playback and online streaming with premium. Combined with Bose sportsound wireless.

Thanks.
Disregard original reply. I saw addtional comments in thread.
Spotify will show up on my Fit 2 Pro but I still have to have my phone in Bluetooth range. I don't have the option to download the playlists to use spotify directly from the watch... Am I missing something here?
You have to be a Spotify premium subscriber to download your playlists.
Is there a way to use Spotify on the Gear Fit 2 Pro without having premium? (Just streaming via WiFi)
Did a update a couple of days ago & the Spotify app works much better now. No stuttering when playing tracks that have been downloaded to my Gear Fit2. Had an issue that playback stopped a couple of times, but apart from that the playback was smooth. Also got myself a Gear S3 Classic as well and the Spotify app works fine on that.
All good so far.
I can't login at all. It keeps saying "login failed".
Any idea what the reason could be?
Was this Spotify app update or watch firmware update? From what I understand some countries got new firmware (not in Australia yet) and it also allegedly fixed HR monitor issues while excersizing, so fingers crossed!
It was a firmware update
Software version it's says is
R360XXU1DQ12 if this is any help.
Still have a problem at times when it locks up Spotify app on the watch, but when it works it works well
The software version I have is R360XXU1DQE6,
this means that I don't have the update yet?? or is the software different in each country?...I'm in Mexico
I have the same version in the Samsung Gear Apps (version 1.1.24) but in the watch the version is 1.0.
Does anyone know why this difference?
