Spotify breaks immersive mode on android 10

Operating System

My Question or Issue

Spotify breaks the immersive mode on my android device, and it's really annoying.

The immersive mode is basically the "fullscreen" mode, that automatically activates for fullscreen apps, such as games. This means, that the navbar and the status- or notification bar is hidden. To make them show, you swipe down once.

The problem is, that Spotify being open breaks this. This means that the status bar is always showing. Its translucent, but shows the clock, battery and all notification-icons. Touching the status bar will open it completely. This is incredibly annoying, because the status-bar will interrupt anything youre doing, when you touch the screen anywhere close to it.

This is not (only) due to the static spotify-control-notification. The problem persists, even when disabling all notifications. Closing spotify completely solves the problem instantly.

I've tried whether its because of static notifications in general, but no other static notification seems to trigger this behaviour. If you have android10, please tell me whether you have the same problem. I'm thinking that it might be beause of the new gesture-control in the pixel-devices, as it uses the notification-bar to show whether the gesture was successful. However, this does not normally apply to fullscreen apps.

Edit: it's a motion-sense bug. Disabling it solves the bug- Don't know if its related to motion sense itself or spotify.
