Spotify clicking through filter?

My Question or Issue

 So basically what's happening is that when I go to my playlist and I only want to hear songs by Eric Church or Sara Evans I type in the filter box their name but when I go to click their songs the first result of Eric Church when I click on it it actually place the first song on my playlist so the filter option is not actually filtering songs and none of the songs that I click are ever going to be played I can only add them to queue one by one which is annoying. Also whenever I hit Shuffle it actually only shuffles about 20 songs out of my thousand song playlist. I've deleted all local data the cash and reinstalled Spotify but nothing seems to help.

It's actually exactly this problem people are experiencing here but no Spotify devs seem to respond at all...
