Spotify completely locked out on my Android

Hello, I am a free user of Spotify.  Everything worked fine until a while ago when I noticed that Spotify on my Android is completely locked out...wants me to upgrade to premium no matter what I try to do, even listening to anything....

Again, everything worked normally until this happened.  Spotify on my computer is fine.  I can make playlists and play whatever I select.  Ofcourse there are ads everyonce in a while but that is normal since I am a free user.  But to completely lock out spotify on my phone seems a little odd.  I have reinstalled, logged out, logged in, deleted Spotify's cache on the phone and still nothing works.  Everything is greyed out in Spotify and wants me to upgrade to premium only....no other choice.  Help!
