Spotify consistently refreshing playlist

Hello,

I have an issue with Spotify on my new Samsung S4: it keeps repeatedly refreshing my playlist while on shuffle if I pause it to do something else. It's irritating as it basically means I can't listen to a playlist right the way through and end up having to listen to the same songs over and over. Also have similar problem with my iPad. Appreciate advice as to how I can resolve this.

I do get this on my iPad if the app gets suspended, but it shouldn't happen on android I don't think.
