My Question or Issue

I just changed phone from S8/Android 9 to an S9/Android 10 and haven't managed to open and use Spotify since! I install the app then clicl on it the Spotify app appears to open with the logo becoming large and then crashes immediately so that I don't even see the login page. I have tried all types of fixes like deleting cache/data, reinstalling, factory re-setting, changed SD card, signed out of everywhere...and still nothing. This is very frustrating - is this a bug with Android 10 perhaps? Any help much appreciated as I am paying for a service I can't use (and without my music!).

Many thanks

Hello,
Today my S9plus get a Update from Samsung. Then i do:
- clear app cache and data
- delete and reinstall spotify
Finally it works fine.

Well I won´t do the factory reset, at least now.

One additional observation: although I haven´t been able to open Spotify I noticed that when I search for something among the apps (ie swipe down from home screen and search in the search bar) then suggestions from Spotify also appears. Such as artists and songs which I even haven´t played or that I have in may playlists. I removed Spotify (one again) and then also these search hits disappeared.

Finaly! Today I received the update too. So I got me tunes back!

Jepp. Took only 4 months to fix the problem............ 🙂😁😁😁

Anyone who has an S9 and not an S9Plus and got an Samsung update too?

Yep, received update for S9 and Spotify up and running.
