Spotify doesn't close, changes songs overnight

Weird stuff going on here. I'll close Spotify on my phone and it'll stay up in the taskbar up top, despite being paused and hitting back until it's out of app. Force closing the app won't make it go away, it eventually comes back, same with restarting the phone.

Additionally, overnight it somehow opens and changes to one of 2 songs (Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran, neither of whom I like or have ever listened to) off of a playlist that Spotify says is in my playlists, but when I go to remove it, it's nowhere to be seen.

I've confirmed nobody is logged in elsewhere by forcing all devices to log out. Version is current.

What gives?
